"Les Portes ouvertes Mangeons local" is a family activity organized by the UPA (farmers' union). This open-house event is your opportunity to do just that while learning about the challenges faced by those in the agricultural industry. In addition, you and your family will enjoy the various festive activities, which will vary depending on the farm you’ll be visiting. On the menu: animal-watching, workshops, entertainment, picking-your-own fruits and vegetables and tastings of local products. You’ll even have the unique opportunity to visit farms that are not usually open to the public, such as dairy or animal farms.
