From July 15 to 23, 20 artists and artisans from the Basses-Laurentides will be waiting to welcome you into their workshops to share their passion, their creations and their methods. La Route des Arts is a unique chance to appreciate the region's artistic offerings up close.

A brilliant window into the region’s artists and their world

La Route des Arts provides a special opportunity to journey into the fascinating world of les Basses-Laurentides' visual artists and craftspeople in artistic trades, including ceramic artists, ecodesigners, engravers, potters, sculptors, stained-glass artists: 20 of these artists’ workshops, selected by an independent jury, will be open and accessible to the public. Novices hoping for an introduction to these skills as well as seasoned art lovers will be delighted to discover artists in their creative environments. The Route des Arts is a must-see tourist attraction in the region and you’ll see why when you enjoy the front-row access it grants you into the world of these artists.

New: use the mobile app to plan your itinerary

Visitors now have the option to create their own personalized artistic trip using the Route des Arts' mobile app, accessible on all mobile devices. The app makes it possible to select artists and artisans to visit all the while making it easy to get around the region and discover beautiful landscapes. The app is updated throughout the year by Route des Arts members, giving you the chance to stay up to date about their latest creations.

Forge a deeper artistic path

The Route des Arts also offers a collective exhibit, from May 20 to June 18 at the Centre d'art d'Argenteuil in Lachute, that will bring together the works of the region's kaleidoscope of artists. The artists' work will also be exhibited in videos featuring commentary by Sylvie Coutu, M.A., an art historian and regional expert, proud partner of the Route des Arts since 2022.
