Known for its diverse lineup of performing arts, Diffusion Saguenay provides access to a wide variety of entertainment, including an incredible show on the history of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, a French comedy classic that’s known worldwide, and performances by popular comedians who will give you a good laugh. So, which will you attend?

A new addition to La Fabuleuse Histoire d’un Royaume

Featuring more than 140 actors, La Fabuleuse Histoire d’un Royaume is a well-known, breathtaking show that appeals to all the senses. Against a stunning backdrop of visual and audio effects, La Fabuleuse tells the story of the founding and development of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean. This year, the huge historic fresco will include a new scene depicting the Saint-Jean-Vianney tragedy, an event that marked the region’s history. From July 12 to August 19, 2023, enjoy this multimedia experience that will leave you speechless!

Le Dîner de cons, a play to see more than once!

Laughter is the best medicine! For a fun, stress-free evening, attend the comedy event of the summer: Le Dîner de cons. From July 27 to 30, watch as Pierre Brochant (Normand D’Amour) and his friends host a dinner party where everyone is asked to bring a schmuck. Brochant invites public official François Pignon (Laurent Paquin), a world-class schmuck who loves building matchstick models. Although Brochant is overjoyed to have found the perfect dinner guest, he doesn’t realize that Pignon is a master at unleashing chaos until it’s too late!

Cabaret de l’humour is back

The Théâtre Palace will host performances by a variety of comedians, each more talented than the next. Cabaret de l’humour will feature Animal by the legendary Jo Cormier, Naturel by the most Québécois French comedian around Jérémy Demay, Pourquoi pas by the ever-inspired Philippe Laprise, and Classique by the incomparable Cathy Gauthier. From July 28 to August 19, get ready to bust a gut at Cabaret de l’humour!
