Calling all foodies! Have you ever heard of Les Délices d'automne? This event in Trois-Rivières happening from October 6 to 9 is definitely a gourmet festival not to be missed! The 22nd edition will be held on the magnificent site of the Esplanade de Trois-Rivières on the St. Lawrence, and will be a feast for your eyes as well as your taste buds. It's a remarkable showcase for local food artisans!

Discover the kiosks

At the heart of the event are over 80 exhibitors (page available in French only) from all over Quebec, proudly showcasing their passion and the fruits of their labour! Whether they are producers, food processors or restaurateurs, they all share a desire to help you discover, through a variety of tastings, the many products and flavours they represent. You’ll get to taste cheeses, spices and condiments, meats, fish, charcuterie, drinks and sweet treats of all kinds in a warm, family atmosphere.

Meet celebrity chefs and popular cooking personalities

In addition to spotlighting the many flavours of homegrown products, Delices d’automne is a place where you can meet guest chefs hosting various activities. Festival-goers can attend conferences, chat with experts or take part in cooking workshops, such as Bob le Chef's grilling tutorial, or Stefano Faita's fresh pasta and seasonal sauce workshop. Other hosts include Rémy Couture, Ève Martel and Nancy Bordeleau, Hubert Cormier and Laura Pigeon.

A family-friendly event where kids can cook, too!

This year, organizers decided to take special care of families. It's never too early to introduce the next generation to the pleasures of food and cooking! On the agenda every morning will be a workshop specially designed for children ages 3 to 10. Kids can discover an interest in cooking or improve their skills during these guided activities. In addition to taking part in workshops, the little ones can have fun on the obstacle course set up on site. The city's libraries have even decided to join the movement by presenting games and themed readings on the subject of food and agriculture during the event.
