Manoir Boucher de Niverville
Manoir Boucher de Niverville
Among the oldest private homes in Canada, the Manoir Boucher de Niverville in Trois-Rivières stands on foundation dating back to 1668. Built in 1729, its original wooden frame carries the legacy of French seigneurial architecture. Climb to the second floor to discover its story. An architectural gem in Trois-Rivières, the Manoir is also a vibrant cultural venue. All summer long, it comes alive with storytelling evenings, historical reenactments, workshops, and temporary exhibitions. In 2026, for a second year, the Manoir opens its doors to Archaeology and Criminal Investigations, a contemporary exhibition designed for the whole family. Within walls steeped in history, discover how science uncovers the best-kept secrets of the past. From the Manoir to the laboratory: enjoy a truly surprising program!
