Fort Lennox National Historic Site

Located in Saint-Paul-de-l’Île-aux-Noix, Fort Lennox National Historic Site showcases the history of the men, women and children who lived on the island. Presented in the officers’ barracks, in the heart of the main building, the new exhibit Passages, experiences of this island tells the stories of these occupants and invites visitors to leave their mark. This fun exhibit was made possible through extensive historical research and numerous collaborations. In addition to being an historic site, Fort Lennox is a picturesque place to enjoy a peaceful stroll or picnic by the water. This extraordinary site also has undergone major restoration work and is scheduled to reopen on June 17, 2023.

Village des Écluses

Located in Pointe-des-Cascades, at the junction of the Soulanges Canal, Lake St. Louis and the St. Lawrence River, Village des Écluses is a resort with a buffet of cultural and recreational activities. Grab a seat on the patio or at the beach, rent a kayak, paddleboard or electric surfboard, bike along the canal, or attend a variety of concerts. This summer, discover the Sentier Lumineux, a brand-new outdoor sound and light experience on the path to the Pointe-des-Cascades lighthouse. Théâtre de la Dame de Cœur

Visitors of all ages are invited to attend a magical show at the Théâtre de la Dame de Cœur (available in French only). This year, the theatre will be presenting Victor et le cadeau des songes, a truly extraordinary adventure! The giant puppet show will take place outdoors in a covered venue where all the seats are equipped with heated straps; they also swivel so you can follow the action for a truly interactive experience. Get there early to visit the interpretation centre, take part in a puppet personalization workshop, or dine at Le Vieux Moulin before the show.
