The 7th International Biennial of Digital Art (BIAN), organized by ELEKTRA, returns on May 31, 2024 at Arsenal contemporary art Montreal. The BIAN, a major exhibition entirely dedicated to contemporary digital art and presented since 2012, will be held until July 21, 2024. This edition will mark the 25th year of existence of the ELEKTRA project. The theme of BIAN 2024 is: ILLUSION. In this post-factual, post-truth, alternative reality era, it becomes essential to address this subject. The proliferation of digital communication technologies for more than two decades, through social networks and now artificial intelligence, notably deepfakes, has contributed to this disinformation leading to these parallel realities in which many people currently live. Under the curatorship of Alain Thibault.
