La Dame aux Camélias
Les Grands Ballets present the world premiere of choreographer Peter Quanz's version of Alexandre Dumas fils' iconic Dame aux Camélias. Based on the tragic love story of the famous courtesan Marguerite Gauthier and Armand Duval, which has inspired films, operas and plays since its publication in 1848, this neoclassical ballet in two acts unfolds through four emotional tableaux: L'Amour, Le Sacrifice, Rhapsodie and Le Trépas, the ingredients of a sublime romantic ballet!
