This route invites you to immerse yourself in the history of the men and women who settled along these shores, and discover the natural and cultural heritage of the Outaouais. Your journey begins on Route 148, which runs parallel to the Ottawa River from the Petite-Nation and the city of Gatineau to the Pontiac. Halfway along, follow the Gatineau River northward to the Collines-de-l’Outaouais territory, with its picturesque villages. Look for the roadside markers to learn more about the historic and cultural sites along the route.
