The Battle of the Châteauguay National Historic Site is commemorating the 200-year anniversary of the battle of October 26, 1813. This major battle of the War of 1812-1814 between the United States and England, took place here, on the banks of the Châteauguay River, in Allan’s Corners. The interpretation centre invitess you to discover the heroes and strategies of this battle, as well as the living conditions of soldiers. In addition, take a bicycle or car ride along the marked out circuit of the Châteauguay River battlefield.
