The Musée Honoré-Mercier is a museum set up in the house where former Quebec Premier Honoré Mercier was born. It presents objects that belonged to him and a slide show, and guided tours are offered. Honoré Mercier was Premier from October 14, 1886 to December 16, 1891. In 1888, thanks to the settlement of the Jesuit Estates Act, he was named Count Palatine and received the Grand Cross of the Order of Saint Gregory. His last words were for his enemies: "Tell my enemies that I have forgotten everything". In 1919, in front of the house, a stone stele was erected.
