After Barcelona, Amsterdam, Berlin and St-Petersburg, Montreal have its own street art museum, the Romeo’s museum. In fact, it is the first urban art museum in Canada. In total, 24 murals by 24 Montreal artists adorn an unusual transitional space... the fire escape cages of 5445 and 5455 in Gaspé, in the Mile-End. The Romeo’s Museum bridges improbable spaces and brings communities together around what makes people think and move forward. Urban art has its place more than ever in this building.
