Brome-Missisquoi, located in the Eastern Townships, an hour drive from Montréal, features 22 vineyards along the marked Route des vins (Wine Route), which goes through Frelighsburg, Dunham and Lac-Brome. Agritourism is highlighted different ways throughout the region: guided tours, tastings, vineyard package, picking. Look for the "Café de village" banner. Owners are proud to help tourists discover the flavours, arts and secrets of their surroundings. The Mount Sutton and Ski Bromont massif is the ideal place to enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, downhill skiing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. There is also a 2.4 km (1.5 mi) bike trail network around Bromont that provides access to the trail L’Estriade. Bike tourism is a great way to discover the living landscapes and picturesque villages in a setting of plains, valleys and mountains. Brome-Missisquoi is also a popular destination for golfers with its 9 golf courses and for well-being with its 7 health centers. Many cultural events allow you to discover the artists and craftsmen.
