A dozen of them will be decked out in style and opening their doors for the second edition of the Holiday Special on the Wine Route.Participating vineyards will be presenting various festive activities, such as guided winter visits, meal pairings, tastings with commentary as well as gift basket suggestions. The Holiday Special is not only the perfect opportunity to visit some vineyards for the last time before next spring, but also a chance to discover what sets Quebec’s vineyards apart: the winter season itself! Stock up on presents and local wines that will enhance your holiday meals! Christmas markets are back For a one-of-a-kind magical atmosphere, you won’t want to miss the Brome-Missisquoi Christmas markets. Each of the seven markets has a distinctive character and something for children or adults: shows and a wine bar in Bromont, a magnificent location in Cowansville, eco-friendly local finds in Dunham, a bonfire and choir in Farnham or good food and the art of table-setting in Frelighsburg. In Lac-Brome, roads are lit up and full of life to delight visitors, while in Sutton, crafts by local artisans inspire a thousand and one gift ideas!
