Gatineau Park delights skiers with its more than 200 km (124 mi) of packed trails that cross forests and valleys; Parc national du Mont-Tremblant has a network of 111 km (69 mi) of unpacked trails including four refuges. Some cross-country ski centres and national parks, such as Parc national de la Gaspésie, have trails perfect for multi-day excursions, with shelters to sleep in at night.
