Need to reconnect with nature without being too far from the city? Located in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, only 30 minutes from downtown Montreal, the Ecomuseum Zoo is open to visitors every day except Christmas Day. Its mission is to showcase Quebec's wildlife by taking in animals that are injured, orphaned or unable to survive in the wild. It offers them a safe environment that is conducive to their well-being. You will get to see foxes, wolves, deer, bears, wild turkeys and snowy owls in an environmental education context.

See the new red foxes that will melt your heart

This fall, the zoo welcomed a pair of silver red foxes. The names of these two beautiful creatures, Saga and Sindri, were chosen through a vote on social media. Very useful for civilization, red foxes, a species whose offspring are self-sufficient by four months of age, feed on small rodents such as rats and mice. They are athletic, fast, mischievous and have an excellent memory, not to mention that they love to play in the snow! Don't miss the opportunity to see them up close...

Make breakfast for the animals

Find out what wolves, bobcats, otters, and fishers eat at the beginning of the day. The Ecomuseum Zoo gives you the opportunity to prepare and serve breakfast for these animals. It all starts with a detailed presentation on the animal you have chosen to feed. You’ll then see them at their most eager and playful! Don’t forget to take photos to remember this very special activity.

How about a birthday party at the zoo?

Organize a memorable birthday party for your kids! Celebrate among the animals with a package that includes a private room and a special presentation from an expert at the Ecomuseum Zoo who will introduce you to two stars of the reptile class. In addition, a surprise gift will be offered on behalf of the animals to the guest of honour! Please note: the zoo does not provide food, but you can bring your own food or drinks or have them delivered.

Leave the urban jungle behind and step into a wonderful habitat just outside the city. The Ecomuseum Zoo will be happy to welcome you!
