At the Marine Environment Discovery Centre, Parks Canada welcomes you to explore the world of starfish and whales. Located 30 minutes from Tadoussac on the Côte-Nord, the Marine Environment Discovery Centre is found alongside the Saguenay—St. Lawrence Marine Park where many birds and marine mammals live. Observe whales, seals and seabirds near the shore and visit our exhibition. Bring a picnic and a windbreaker. The seasoned guides offer family activities on site every day. See the starfish, anemones and sea cucumbers up close: participate in the “The St. Lawrence Live” activity. The interpreter divers will show you what they see via an underwater video camera. Divers, dive right into some of the most beautiful underwater scenery in North America.
