Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park
The Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park is one of the best whale-watching sites in the world. This park protects the marine life of part of the St. Lawrence Estuary, from La Malbaie to Les Escoumins, as well as part of the Saguenay Fjord, from Tadoussac to Sainte-Rose-du-Nord. Whales, seals and seabirds gather in this area. Explore the Marine Park from the shore or by boat: participate in one of twenty sea expeditions offered on various boats, zodiacs or kayaks. There are also 22 coastal sites where you can take part in a number of activities. Watch the whales from the shore, discover starfish, learn more about the history of the local Indigenous people, and enjoy the stunning views of the marine park.
