The
Pointe-Noire Interpretation and Observation Centre is the perfect place for relaxing and enjoying an exceptional view of the Saguenay Fjord and Tadoussac. Since 1875, this site has been guiding navigators thanks to fires built on the headland; they indicate the direction to follow for moving towards Saguenay. The walkway will lead you to the guard’s house. Speak with interpreter-guides on the patio. In the summer, you will be surprised by belugas, small white whales, as they swim along the Pointe-Noire coastline. Check out the exhibition to learn more about this site’s history and discover the wildlife living in the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park.
