In partnership with Quebec's tourism regions.

When winter comes along, what could be more fun than sliding down hills with family! All over Quebec, snow tubing centres and some ski resorts offer trails for those looking for thrills accessible to all ages. In addition, several centres are able to expand their offer with snow rafting while others have created twists on the traditional tubes for new ways to slide. This is definitely an activity you won't get tired of!

It is recommended to avoid traveling outside of your own region.

On your marks, get set, slide!

Are you ready for some thrills? Be sure to check out Les Glissades des Pays d’en Haut, a great destination in the Laurentians. With 61 trails of different levels, 3 sunny slopes and 5 “snow boats”, this sliding centre is the largest in the world. Those who are looking for a bigger challenge can try snow rafting or the unique Snow Bobsleigh and Vortex360. Families will also find multiple trails sure to please all ages.

In Lanaudière, Les Super Glissades Saint-Jean-de-Matha have been welcoming fans of snow tubing for over 25 years. This superb outdoor centre offers sliding and rafting on two mountainsides, as well as the largest winter park of bouncy games in Canada, which is sure to delight the little ones.

Mountains promising an avalanche of fun

Le Valinouët, located in the heart of Monts-Valin, in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, is one of the only two ski resorts in Quebec that offers 100% natural snow. The mountain is a winter paradise for skiers and snowboarders, cross-country skiers… and snow tubing enthusiasts. The tubing park, situated very close to the cross-country ski trails, has three slopes and a snow tubing lift that everyone will enjoy. Abundant snow and magnificent landscapes await you!

In Wakefield, the can’t-miss Edelweiss park is a real gem for outdoor enthusiasts. This area is home to superb slopes for skiers, but non-skiers also find their fancy here by visiting the tubing park with 11 beautiful tube sliding tracks – open on Saturdays and Sundays – which you can slide down by yourself or two by two. By the way, did you know that Edelweiss is the only destination to offer snow tubing in the Outaouais region?

Winter joy near the Old City

Village Vacances Valcartier invites you to discover the largest winter centre in America. For a good rush of adrenalin, you can count on the Himalaya slide, from where you’ll get a great view of the valley, or go for the Everest, a 33.5-metre-tall acceleration slide. The original Snow Rafting and Tornado are also must-tries. Toddlers can expect lots of fun, too, thanks to the tunnels and mini-slides in the children's playground.
